Kara Marshall is an Assistant Director in GAO’s Office of Congressional Relations. She has been at GAO for about 18 years, most of which she spent in its International Affairs and Trade team. Within the International Affairs and Trade team, Kara led numerous audit teams working on issues ranging from U.S. security cooperation with foreign partners to State Department management and combatting illicit trafficking. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband and daughter. Outside of work, she is an avid soccer fan and enjoys hiking and traveling.
